Following is a list of common questions on our load estimation spreadsheet:

    1. Q. What is the load estimation spreadsheet?
      A. The spreadsheet allows you to carry out building load calculations using IEC methods.  It includes typical power densities which you can use or modify to suit your requirements.  As a calculation template, the spreadsheet can be used as is, or modified and extended to cover any particular requirements.
    2. Q. How can i get a copy of the spreadsheet?
      A. You can obtain a copy of the spreadsheet from our store.  Just follow the site links.
    3. Q. How do I download my purchased spreadsheet?
      A. To download a purchased copy of the spreadsheet, navigate to store, click on "Your Account" at the top right and the select "Digital Download Locker". Please note that your download will only be available, once the payment transaction has been fully cleared.
    4. Q. Are the values in column G connected loads?
      A. Column G are the connected loads (referred from the power densities sheet). Getting these right is probably the most difficult thing in any load estimation. Depending on your project, you may want to use the densities as given or adjust them; offices for example will vary depending on their intended use, if heating is electric or some other fuel, air-conditioning requirements, etc.
