How major rectifer load?

Hi,

Sir i have 12V/500A plating rectifer. Input is 3phase/415v. Can i say my connected load (12v x 500a= 6000VA) or it should be different? i have to calculate of primary side? how?

Is this plating rectifier operating on dc voltage? What is the efficiency of your rectifier? What do you want to calculate in input Ac side - real power, apparent  power, reactive power, current?

The output DC power to rectifier is  12Vx500A = 6000W(since DC cosØ = 1)

The input power to rectifier(W) = 6000/efficiency.

  • Input 3 phase 415V & output 12V DC.85% efficiency. I want to calculate real power on full load. - PD 11/25/2013

  • Primary sisde input power is 6000/0.85 = 7058.82 Watts = 7.05KW - ram31 12/7/2013
