Hi, Sir i have 12V/500A plating rectifer. Input is 3phase/415v. Can i say my connected load (12v x 500a= 6000VA) or it should be different? i have to calculate of primary side? how? asked 11/22/2013 PD4

 Is this plating rectifier operating on dc voltage? What is the efficiency of your rectifier? What do you want to calculate in input Ac side - real power, apparent  power, reactive power, current? The output DC power to rectifier is  12Vx500A = 6000W(since DC cosØ = 1) The input power to rectifier(W) = 6000/efficiency. answered 11/23/2013 ram31 66 Input 3 phase 415V & output 12V DC.85% efficiency. I want to calculate real power on full load. - PD 11/25/2013Primary sisde input power is 6000/0.85 = 7058.82 Watts = 7.05KW - ram31 12/7/2013
