Induction generator starting

How should the equivalent circuit for an induction generator be modeled in order to calculate instantaneous voltage dip when the generator is initially rotating at its synchronous speed when energized? In this scenario, the rotating induction generator will be energized first from the utility bus, and approximately 0.1 to 0.2 seconds later a bank of power capacitors will be connected to the same bus, correcting the generator power factor to ~96%. (The time delay for switching the capacitors is due to an aux contact interlock with the generator contactor.)
